I managed to delete the first post i put up, so here goes again, sitting at my desk, feeling a little harrassed , but not as harrassed as i was in Blighty...

Well we finally made the move in Jun 2007, having decided that the way forward in travel is by Caravan and Land Rover, its obvious really !
Anyway, Sam went off to School as normal that last day leaving Clare and i to clear the house and load up the Landie and Pikey wagon, sorry Caravan !
So at about 4pm, Sam and Mum turn up at the yard where the Van was being stored by its previous owner for our initial jaunt along the coast to a little site near Newhaven ferry terminal for our first night. You have to bear in mind that ive never towed a caravan before at this point and what with leaving the country as well....
All was good !
Arrived at the site after an hour or so and managed to successfully reverse onto the pitch without a hitch...no pun intended.
Went out to a local pub for tea and had a lovely meal, wasnt a late one, couple of pints, then back to the van for a good kip as had to be up at 5am.
